This part-time role involves assisting with daily preparation, kitchen duties, outdoor supervision of children and maintaining a clean and organized space.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with Daily Preparation: Help prepare materials for the day as directed
• Supervise Children: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Actively monitor children during playtime and meals. Assist with the bathroom routine.
• Maintain a Clean and Organzied Environment: Clean and sanitize materials, equipment, and surfaces. Organize supplies and materials.
• Kitchen Responsibilities: Ensure morning snack and lunch dishes are washed and sanitized, prepare afternoon snack, manage inventory of snack and kitchen items. 

• Patient, compassionate, and nurturing attitude towards children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 44lbs
• Ability to work outdoors for 1 hour daily, year-round
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certification (must be obtained prior to the first day of work)
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate (must be obtained prior to the first day of work)
• Up-to-date Immunization Record
• Complete a Successful Vulnerable Sector Check
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Prior experience working in a childcare setting is an asset
